for valentine's the boyfriend surprised me early in the morning with breakfast he made. muffin, a poached egg - perfect the way i like it and bacon, he was waiting for me at the office so he could catch me just b4 i stepped foot into dbs building. yumlicious indeed
also got flowers, which were so pretty when the lilies started blooming n a very sweet card later on.
well i was quite sick that day n was a rather bad date that day. there were no dinner plans as we tot i would knock off work at the usual 8pm but the boss let me off earlier so i could 'go home n rest' as i had to be in the office the next day n she won't even allow me ONE day of sick leave. so i ended up eating porridge at crystal jade hahaa
anyway i still owe the boyf a card i was suppose to give him that day. lol. sshhh...
as one of my friends commented, 'karina, u're weird' i don't really feel anything for v-day neither do i need flowers that cost $299 or to be wined n dined at somewhere romantic.
to me its just a perfect excuse to be treated with extra TLC. haha
i'm simple i wouldn't mind yummy food cooked by the boyf and flowers don't have to cost $299. lol if it costs $299, i'd rather the money goes into my robin egg blue or monogram fund. mua haha
